Voujo strives to offer the highest level of safety, privacy and reliability for our members. We’ve implemented multiple features (see FAQs) to bring a new and refreshing spin to the digital age of dating. In order to better serve the Voujo community, we require all members to follow these guidelines below.
Protecting Your Identity
Be careful about sharing personal information with other users such as your full name, phone number, email and home address until you establish a certain level of trust. Never provide financial information such as your social security number, credit card information, check routing numbers or anything about your personal banking.
Before You Meet
Get to know someone on Voujo before arranging to meet in person. Spend time getting to know each other on the app and always check to see if he/she has first impression and friend feedback. We strongly encourage you not to exchange any contact information (ie. email, phone number, address, social media accounts, etc) until after you have already met and have a strong comfort level with the member.
When You Meet
Always meet in a public place with other people around. Never choose an isolated location such as your home or apartment, especially if it’s the first meeting. Tell your friends and family who you are going out with, where you’re going and when you’ll return. Always be in control of your own transportation – never accept a ride with someone you don’t know or trust.
Be aware of (and report) anyone who:
- sends you links to other websites
- asks you to chat on an outside account
- sends confusing messages that don’t make sense
- sends offensive or harassing messages
- tries to sell you a product or service
Be safe and have fun!
